Thanks for the New Children’s Emergency Department Art

Thanks to the creativity and brushstrokes of Ravenscroft faculty and students, the WakeMed Children’s Emergency Department hallways now have an “Under the Sea” theme to welcome its young patients.

Ravenscroft Upper School students designed and painted a new mural for the Children’s Emergency Department ambulance entrance hallway.  Ravenscroft Middle School art students painted 40 sea life images that now hang around the Children’s Emergency Department.

First started in January, the mural was completed in six months.  Thank you Ravenscroft faculty and students for making pediatric patients’ trips to the emergency department a little less stressful!
