Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers and community organizations who have visited the Children’s Hospital so far this month to deliver toys and goodies to patients. These visits have brought lots of fun and cheer to patients and their families.
So far, these visitors have included:
- Children who requested books to donate to the Children’s Hospital instead of birthday presents
- Former patients who wanted to share some love and goodies with current patients
- Community organizations who have coordinated toy drives and book drives, decorated Christmas Trees, made rainbow loom bracelets and so much more
- Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves (Santa is an official WakeMed volunteer with his own badge)
