Hurricane Preparedness Week is this week, because believe it or not, hurricane season starts June 1st.
While we recently experienced the severe tornadoes, it has been several years since our state has been impacted by a major hurricane. It is important that we remember North Carolina is at risk of being impacted by hurricanes, and a little advance preparation can go a long way.

Preparing for a Tornado
