1. Leave fireworks to the professionals.
2. Professional displays are the safest way to enjoy fireworks.
3. Only adults should handle fireworks.
4. Never make your own fireworks.
5. Always use fireworks outside.
6. Keep a bucket of water and a hose nearby.
7. Direct the fireworks away from people, home, bushes and trees.
8. Never aim or throw fireworks at another person.
9. Light one at a time, and never relight a dud.
10. Teach children “stop, drop and roll” as clothes can catch fire.
