Update December 4, 2009
Thank you very much to Dean Ogan, Hi-5 and the Memories for Marcus volunteers. They collected $7,500 in cash and many, many toys for pediatric patients of all ages. Some will be given out on Christmas and many others will be enjoyed by children celebrating birthdays on the unit and playing in the playroom throughout the year. The gifts are also distributed to children in Day Surgery and the Children’s Emergency Department. Generosity like this is greatly appreciated by WakeMed staff and patients year round!
